The executive committee also decided to nominate Dr. Bhaskar Dawadi from Florida and Dr. Khusi Ram Tiwari from Mississippi as the co-commissioners to assist the Chief Election Commissioner to execute the election process. I am happy to announce that Dr. Malla as well as Dr. Dawadi and Dr. Tiwari have accepted our nominations.
As you know, all the three new election commissioners have provided years of service to NASeA but to mention briefly, Dr. Prakash Malla have been the president of NASeA and led the historic amendments of NASeA bylaws in 2010; Dr. Bhaskar Dawadi have been the co-election commissioner during NASeA election 2011 and Dr. Tiwari have been the president Florida Nepal Association and have served NASeA in many occassions. These are just a few of a long list of their services to NASeA. All the three commissioners are currently NASeA advisors.
Me and the fellow executive committee officials assure all the support and help to the election commissioners to carry our their mission of free, fair, efficient and a democratic election process.
Sincerely,
Sanjeeb Sapkota
