On behalf of Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA), I would like to congratulate Literary Committee Chair Krishna Shrestha ji together with all respected nominated members of the Literary committee for your commitment towards Nepali literature, language and together we will work towards promoting our Nepali American Identity in best serving our community in NASeA region and Beyond! I am confident that this committee led by Chair Krishna Shrestha will give consistency to promote NASeA literary activities in this region and beyond in partnership with INLS International.

Respected Nepali Community in NASeA region and Beyond,
Greetings!
We all aware that for the past two months our motherland Nepal has been adversely affected by undeclared embargo by neighbor India. Landlocked countries cannot be embargoed by laws of any country. Against the reality Nepal has been adversely affected by Indian blockade.
Let us keep our differences aside, we can live as neighbors with respect. Nepal is a sovereign, independent, landlocked country and according to the international laws she is entitled to uninterrupted transit facility. We, Nepali-Americans demand that India should respect this and immediately lift the embargo. We also condemn blatant interference of Nepal’s human rights, sovereignty and independence and transit rights.

Please join the protest rally against India’s Trade Embargo in the nation’s capital, Washington DC on Sunday, November 22, 2015.
Respected American Nepali community family members and friends of Nepal in NASeA region and around the world,
Greetings!
Sadly we all are aware of the current situation in Nepal. This is worse than the recently experienced catastrophic earthquake. Lack of gasoline, medicines/hospital supplies, food, and day to day life all over Nepal has come to a standstill due to India’s economic blockade.
For the past several weeks, we all have been communicating that all Nepali individuals, Organizations Presidents, Community Leaders and Friends of Nepal in North America need to come together and act immediately to address Nepal’s crises so that without any reservations India should recognize and honor the constitution of Nepal, a Sovereign Nation, by not interfering in its internal matters, and by allowing free flow of goods from India and other trading partners to Nepal immediately.
With this note, we humbly request all our Nepali friends and well wishers to join the protest rally against India Trade Embargo in the nation’s capital, Washington DC on Sunday, November 22, 2015.
