October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual international campaign aimed to increase education and raise funds for further research into breast cancer. Breast cancer is the most common type of cancer in women worldwide, with at least 2.1 million women affected each year.
The Breast Cancer Awareness Month, marked in countries across the world every October, helps to increase attention and support for the awareness, early detection and treatment as well as palliative care of this disease.

The Guest speakers for this session will be Dr Nita Thapa , Obstetrician and Gynecologist from South Carolina and Dr Suddhartha Yadav , Assistant Professor of Oncology & senior assistant consultant in women’s cancer at Mayo Clinic in Rochester , Minnesota.
