Cashier’s check formally handed over to Prime Minister Sushila Karki

The Nepalese Association in Southeast America (NASeA) proudly announces the successful handover of $6,138.16—approximately nine lakh Nepali rupees—to the Rebuild Nepal initiative, supporting ongoing national reconstruction and development efforts.

The contribution reflects the combined generosity of the Nepali diaspora community. A GoFundMe campaign organized by NASeA raised $5,039.94, while an additional $1,098.22 was contributed by the Nepalese Student Association at the University of South Carolina.

NASeA Treasurer Puran Raj Khatiwada formally presented the cashier’s check to Rt. Honorable Prime Minister Sushila Karki, reaffirming NASeA’s commitment to standing with Nepal during its rebuilding journey.

“This donation represents the collective goodwill, unity, and dedication of our community,” NASeA stated. “We extend our sincere gratitude to every donor whose support made this contribution possible.”

NASeA remains committed to advancing initiatives that uplift Nepal and empower Nepali communities across the globe.
