Sad news for Nepali Community

Dear All,
Today is a sad day for Nepali community that we had to face this
unbearable news of homicide of our innocent Nepali brother Damoder
Pathak while he was working to earn him living.

NASeA strongly condemns the ruthless homicide of Damoder by an
yet-unidentified robber last night when he was working at a gas station in
Dekalb County of Gerogia. This is a severe blow to each and every people
of Nepali origin in the United States. Not a long time ago, we had to lose
another Nepali to death in Baltimore and the cause of that still remain
unknown.

Costomers called Damoder Pathak as Peter with love and everyone liked
him for his hard work, sincerity and genial behaviour. One costumer said in
the news link below that he was such a helpful person that he would give
his shirt off his back.

NASeA requests the concerned authority a full and serious investigations on
this matter to get the culprit to the justice. NASeA through its Committee
on Community Services would work with Nepalese Association in Geogia (NAG)
to take necessary steps to provide immediate support to the children and
family of deceased Mr. Pathak. Below is the detail on this news by NAG
president Pranaya Lama.

Please bring Damoder in your thoughts and prayers and please support NAG
and NASeA in providing the best help to the Pathak family.

Sincerely,

Sanjeeb Sapkota
President,
Nepalese Association in Southeast America
